In this painting, Albert Bierstadt portrays a beautiful mountain landscape view of a Red Indian camp. In this artwork, your point of view is as if you are standing on the ground looking at the various activities of the Indian campers.

The main subject of the painting is an Indian camp, where red Indians are camping near a river. When you look at left hand side of the painting, you’ll see several tents made by the Indians. You’ll also see some of them inside their tents.

The ladies of the camp are preparing food on the ground. You’ll also see a river on the right side of the composition. Some of the campers are fishing at the river. There is a beautiful tree on the edge of the river, giving shades to campers. The tree hides some of the tents in the area. You’ll only see those tents when you look between the branches of the tree.

You’ll also see some animals in this painting. There is a red Indian on a horse in the background. Then, there is a dog in the foreground. You’ll also see remains of a dead cow in the painting.

This painting adds a historical view to your walls. Therefore, this art piece is highly appropriate for your library walls. This art print also makes a beautiful gift for your teachers. It could also be kept in your family room to strengthen closeness among family members.
