#10 Nala Damayanti
The painting portrays the beautiful love story of Nala-Damayanti. Even though, this painting does not tell us a happy story, many of our customers chose this one as the 10th most preferred romantic painting to decorate their bedroom.
Nala, king of a small country, was selected as the messenger of Gods who were going to attend the Swayamvara of Damayanti, the most beautiful woman in the world. When Damayanti saw Nala, she wanted to marry him and not anyone else.
On the day of Swayamvara, each God appeared as Nala and made things difficult for Damayanti. But the power of prayer helped Damayanti. She prayed to every God for help and the Gods finally turned themselves back to their original form, letting Damayanti marry Nala.
This beautiful love story has many twists, but finally the two had a wonderful life together.
